Lactation Consultant Services

Personalized services are offered by our experienced, lactation consultants.  During a consultation, a maternal and infant health history, a breast assessment and an observation of the infant feeding are completed.  As a team member with your primary care provider, the lactation consultant will develop a clear and concise care plan with close follow-up to help you overcome your difficulties.

Appointments are necessary and payment is expected when service is rendered.  Many insurance companies offer coverage for lactation consultation services.

Breastfeeding is a special relationship that may require support, education, and nurturing.  We at Mother's Resource are dedicated to helping you to achieve your breastfeeding goals.

Breast Pumps

Mother's Resource carries a full line of Medela breastfeeding products including the rental of quality medical grade electric breast pumps at affordable rates.  We also offer pumps for purchase including the Mini-Electric, the Double-Ease, and the Pump-in-Style.  Our staff will teach you how to assemble, use and clean your breast pump at no additional charge.  For more information on these products please go to the Medela website at www.medela.com.

Infant Weight Checks and Scale Rentals

Mother's Resource offers infant weight checks by appointment only.  Infants are weighed on the Medela Baby Weigh Scale.  This can be used for determining weight gain, breast milk intake, and in easing a new mother's mind.  These scales are also available for rental.
